SUCCESS STORY – CEMENT PLANT

Location: Minas Gerais – Brazil.

Equipment: 750 KW cage rotor induction motor.

Service performed: Basic maintenance, bearing replacement and final tests.

Challenge:

One of the most traditional cement companies in Minas Gerais, contacted DATA ENGINEERING’s team of experts, in an emergency situation, early Sunday morning, due to a malfunction in one of the main motors of the cement grinding department of the plant, compromising its production. After the initial service, DATA’s technical team asked the customer to immediately send the equipment to his workshop for problem analysis.

Solution:

After the analysis it was identified that the motor bearings were damaged and the main covers with inadequate dimensions. DATA’s team worked around the clock, committed to solving the client’s problem in the shortest time possible. The entire service was successfully completed in less than 15 hours of work, with the bearings being supplied and replaced, inspected, and the final tests performed. The equipment was released for operation, returning to full operation, exceeding the client’s expectations, who has already asked DATA ENGINEERING for another spare engine.
